Stepping Into Discipleship Our Journey Begins
God sent Jesus down to earth to live among us and to experience the life that His people live every day. Jesus died on the cross for our sins to provide us with a second chance to get it right. On the day we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He gave us the gift of sanctification. If we follow this process, we can strive to be more like Jesus Christ, becoming disciples of God, determined to keep our eyes on the prize: Jesus Christ.

“We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.” 1Corinthians 2:12 (NIV) In life, we have to make many decisions about which roads in life we will travel, whether we will walk down the road on the right, or the left, or just walk straight down the middle road. We have to make choices every day to follow God or follow Satan! From the beginning of humankind, God has been directing us to follow Him, but sometimes we choose to go in the wrong direction.
